I am pretty much okay with visiting almost any state in the United States, however I don't care to visit any other country and that includes our neighbors to the north.... Canada, no offence to some Canadians I know but I find Canadians very rude when they come down to the United States, they will pretty much run you off the highway and they seem to think its okay to go 80mph in a 70mph zone.
On my list of states in the United States that I really want to visit is New York, Florida, Alaska, Texas that is pretty much it, all the other states I only care to drive through as I am going to travel to the mentioned states.

Punishing Children
I am pretty disgusted by peoples actions they would take when it comes to punishing a child. You may punish your child in ways that involve the form of Corporal Punishment, but there are more effective ways then striking at a child and next time you go to spank your own children I would really suggest you look up the law in your state, just list off a couple of states....
Idaho:
Child Abuse includes a physical strike to a child in which inflicted by a parent or other person in whom legal custody 16-2002. [Civil Code]
Washington:
Physical use of discipline to a child is the result of excessive corporal punishment. This will result in criminal charges against a parent/guardian/custodian who administers 9A.16.100. [Criminal Code]
and just a little FYI
Spanking is a mild form of corporal punishment. The American Academy of Pediatrics (as well as many child development experts) strongly opposes ever striking a child. It's not an effective or positive approach to discipline
It teaches your child that violence is an acceptable way to express anger and deal with conflict. This contradicts the rest of how you are trying to raise your child.
It's harmful emotionally for you. Have you ever felt wonderful after hitting a child? Spanking often leads to remorse, guilt, and doubts about the quality of your own parenting skills. Avoid the agony-resist the urge to smack. It's a very unpleasant sensation to feel like a bully.
It's harmful emotionally for the child. Spanking is traumatic, makes a child feel as though there's something wrong with her (instead of something wrong with her behavior), creates resentment, and can lead to body image and self image problems.
Spanking tells a child she is powerless. A powerless person will act out, leading to more problems.
Spanking is disrespectful to the child, and it doesn't help teach respectful values or standards.
It breaks trust and invades a child's sense of security.
It halts effective communication.
Where do you go from there? Once you resort to physical discipline, the only steps “up” are more, or stronger physical discipline. Don't start down that path.
It doesn't work! In the very, very short term, you may stop the misbehavior. The backlash is not worth the very, very short term.
How anyone can spank, hit a child without guilt is just SICK! Thats all I got to say.

Places...
It has been brought to my attention that I have not been 'daily blogging' first of all I have two kids ages 3 months and 2 years and I tell you what they take all my time during the day, so I was also asked why I dont update my blog at night, well after getting both boys asleep, I am typically asleep while getting my oldest boy asleep. I have found time to update my blog because my 3 month old is asleep and my 2 year old is busy playing with the vacuum in the kitchen which I just jinks myself because he came to pull me in the kitchen to show me all the cool stuff he is doing like burning down the kitchen, okay im just kidding about that... I really try to update this daily, I have mentioned before I subscribe to a few blogs that give me daily blogging topics and they stay open in my email all day long and well that daily blog never happens so I will give this a shot while I have the chance.
Todays blog topic is places.... Right now I would rather be where I was last summer and that is camping, I had so much fun with my wife and my son camping but in all honestly my oldest son at the time was a little too young to be camping well for as long as we were going to be camping for, I would of loved to camp longer but the whole trip in a nutshell sucked because he kept on getting hurt, I am looking forward to this summer and hope we can try the whole camping thing again but then again we will have a second son around the same age Chayce was so it will be more fun for Chayce but we will be dealing with the same crap we dealt with Chayce.....

So thats where I would rather be right now, I would love it to be summer, relaxing with my family, wife, and my two boys just enjoying life and forgetting about the stresses of life.
Lets shoot for this daily blog thing and actually make it daily.... :) I can always try again tomorrow.... Take Care.
